Paintings of Jenny Saville. Very fleshy, colourful,.. reminds me a bit of Francis Bacon. Confronts conceptions of feminine beauty in a way I think could link to the ideals of the Body Shop. The human body is distorted and appears grotesque yet beautiful. Certainly makes the veiwer confront their ideas of body image.
